Great Ice Cream Maker
Well designed and well made. Fits together nicely. Transparent cover allows you to watch mixture expand and mix as it freezes. The plastic ice/salt bucket is nicely fitted and makes the operation neat and fun. The outer wood covering acts as a thermal insulator protecting the ice/salt slurry from the surrounding temperature and the wood does not frost up. I have used ice cream makers since the 1950s including hand crank types. I have recommended this maker to friends and family. The motor did not seem to be challenged even after the mixture was frozen. Easy to clean and store – save the box. Read the instruction concerning the drain hole.

Awesome basic ice cream maker
This ice cream maker is the easy, old fashioned (electric version) ice cream maker. It makes SO MUCH ice cream. I have been doubling Pinterest recipes and making tons of ice cream. I’ve made pineapple (pictured), chocolate and cinnamon. All have come out creamy and smooth. The only issue is there isn’t a really food time to add mix-ins while it is freezing. I’ve just layered the ice cream and mix-ins in my quart container when taking it out of the bucket. It takes a small bag of ice and the rock salt. I made two batches of ice cream (two flavors) using most of the same ice. I topped it off with fresh ice and salt.

Amazingly Simple & Yummy!
Used this for the first time with my grandkids and it did not disappoint. Used the simple vanilla recipe included in the box and halved the recipe. Chilled the cylinder for half an hour but otherwise just tossed the ingredients in and went for it! We used a heavy pot to smash the ice a little smaller but it worked great. 30 minutes to fairly stiff soft serve ice cream. Served 4 with another half to put in freezer for later. No need for a fancy machine. This one is excellent!!!!!

Best Ice Cream Maker Ever
This is the best little ice cream maker ever. On July 4 th we made some Wendy’s Frosty ice cream . It made the best ice cream . It turned creamy and firm. It’s still got a great taste weeks later . I am very happy with my purchase and investment of this ice cream maker . It’s the best one I have ever owned.

Works perfect!
Recently purchased the nostalgia ice cream maker! We had it for about 5 days and decided Friday was the day! So we made vanilla first! It came out perfectly! We followed the directions in manual exactly and ice cream was done in 28 minutes!!! I highly recommend this item if you want to make homemade ice cream! You will not regret it!!!

Fun family memories!
I bought this ice cream maker because I wanted to duplicate the great memories I had growing up & we made the best ice cream ever. This machine did not disappoint. It was really easy to use ( you didn’t have to churn it by hand because it is electric) and it came with some great recipes in its instruction book. Also, cleanup was super easy. BTW, the ice cream was a huge hit.
