Light and compact when stored/tukked away . Sturdy when used.
Perfect to take with you on a trip, for those “last minute” gifts your wife wants to buy on a trip. We took it on our trip to Spain last Christmas, tuked away in one of our suitecases. Returning back home, Santa had “dropped off” a few bulky gifts for the kids at our AirBNB condo. Came in really handy for the trip back home. Now we always take with us, tukked away in the bottom of the suitcase “just in case” Very light, so it does not make a difference if you use or not.

Excellent build-quality and features, but heavier than expected for “just in case” travel bag
Bought this bag on the strength of the reviews here. Very well-made bag, tons of capacity, great pockets. But I’m returning it – all of its features (build quality, pockets, etc) make it heavier than expected for a “just in case” travel bag. It does fold up into its own pocket, but all those features make it the size of a sofa pillow. The smaller 23-inch bag would make a terrific gym bag with all the pockets and build-quality. Great job AmazonBasics, but need something even lighter.
